Welcome to the Chat!

When I first started thinking about Floreo Health, I was certain of one thing: I would not have a blog. Because just what the world needs—another health blog, right?

The internet is already overflowing with health content. But as I spent more time paying closer attention to the conversations happening around health, I realized something important. Much of it falls into one of three categories: recycled advice, shallow commentary, or information that isn’t particularly actionable.

There is no shortage of information. What’s missing is thoughtful exploration.

I’ve never been someone who simply accepts ideas because “that’s the way it’s always been done.” I’m naturally curious about the assumptions behind them, and I like to examine the evidence and ultimately see things for myself.

Sometimes conventional wisdom holds up; sometimes it doesn’t. And more often than not, the truth lies somewhere in the nuance—far beyond the oversimplified narratives that dominate most conversations about health.

That’s what this blog is for. This will not be a space filled with “do this, don’t do this” health rules.

My goal is to make you think. To challenge assumptions. To explore ideas more deeply. To wrestle with questions about health that rarely get examined with the nuance they deserve.

And frankly, that kind of exploration doesn’t fit very well inside an Instagram post.

So here we are.

What You’ll Find Here

One series I’m especially excited about is called Ancient Wisdom for Modern Health.

Across cultures and centuries, humans developed rich traditions for understanding and supporting health—from concepts like prana and qi to practices such as fasting and sacred plant medicine.

Many of these ideas are now resurfacing in modern wellness conversations. But along the way, some have been misunderstood, oversimplified, or commercialized in ways that strip them of their deeper meaning.

In this series, I’ll explore ancient wisdom through a modern lens—looking not only at the practices themselves, but also at the philosophical frameworks that gave them life.

Because understanding the why behind these traditions is often just as important as the practices themselves.

Beyond that, many of the ideas explored here will focus on something deeper: rethinking how we understand health in the first place.

What health actually is. What threatens it. And the few foundational things that matter far more than most people realize. (Hint: it’s not supplements or the latest biohacking protocol.)

Along the way, I’ll also share parts of my own health journey—including some of the challenges I faced and the lessons that ultimately reshaped how I think about health and healing.

If this blog does its job well, it will likely leave you with more questions than answers.

And that is entirely intentional. Because meaningful change rarely begins with a protocol. It begins with a shift in perspective.
